Trail of Treats | | October 29, 2009 6 - 8 p.m. | This event along the White House Greenway is hosted by the White House Parks Department. Vendors, businesses and churches set up themed booths along the greenway and pass out treats to area children. The event is free to attend. We need to get our resources together, people to help construct and man the booth, etc. It's a LOT of fun and the kids really enjoy it. A great outreach opportunity for
The Pointe.
We will be reconstructing the maze from last year. We won the booth competition and we wouldn't mind making it two years in a row. If you can help, contact Bill Petty / 672-2455 / bill@get2thepointe.com. We also need donations of candy (or cash to buy candy). Just drop it off at church or give us a call.

Danya Powell Live at The Pointe | | November 01, 2009 6 p.m. | Danya Powell Live in Concert at The Pointe!
Sunday November 1st, 6 - 8 p.m.
We are excited to invite you to join our Youth for a night of music, worship and fellowship as we welcome Danya Powell, an up and coming new Christian artist, to The POINTE.
At the age of 17, Danya delivers songs that speak to a maturity that is inspiring.
"...my hope for this generation. It's time to set the world on fire. I'm tired of sitting still and just watching this world fall farther away from Jesus. I don't want my generation to become just another statistic. It's time to be the different. It's time to be the unashamed. We don't live FOR the now, we live IN the now and FOR eternity."
While this event is Youth focused, all are invited. We have invited a number of other churches to join with us for a time of fellowship and worship. If you have a neighbor or friend or family member that might enjoy this event, please be sure to extend an invitation.
